If you do not configure the Enable web search in Copilot policy, web search is readily available to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Conversation, unless you set the Permit the use of added optional linked experiences in Workplace plan to Disabled.

Copilot Chat is currently pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Groups, and Overview for a lot of users that are qualified for Copilot Chat across the web, mobile, and desktop.

Admins can also alter the pinning setups of Copilot Conversation for individuals in Microsoft Teams through the Teams admin center: Assign an application arrangement policy with copilot client portal reviews Conversation in the pinned applications to customers with an Entra account.

The Allow internet search in Copilot plan also enables you to take care of web look for customers with a Microsoft 365 Copilot permit. To ensure individuals across your organization have simple access to Copilot Chat and can gain from its safety and experience updates, we advise that your customers have Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat pinned to their navigating bar.
