If you do not configure the Enable web search in Copilot plan, internet search is available to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and co pilot or Copilot Conversation, unless you set the Allow the use of extra optional linked experiences in Office plan to Disabled.

Copilot Chat is now pinned by default in the navigating bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, Groups, and Overview for many individuals that are eligible for Copilot Conversation across the internet, mobile, and desktop.

Admins can also transform the pinning settings of Copilot Chat for customers in Microsoft Teams with the Groups admin center: Designate an application configuration policy with Copilot Conversation in the pinned applications to users with an Entra account.

To help improve the top quality of responses, Copilot Chat can utilize internet search questions sent out to the Bing search service to ground reactions in the most recent information from the internet. Copilot includes a CRM, alert facility, powerful consent controls, and important applications for messaging, payment, file-sharing, agreements, and types.
