Handle Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat

If you do not configure the Enable web search in Copilot policy, web search is offered to users by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you set the Allow the usage of added optional linked experiences in Workplace plan to Handicapped.

Copilot Chat is copilot safe now pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Teams, and Expectation for most customers that are eligible for Copilot Conversation throughout the web, mobile, and desktop.

If you formerly selected ‘Do not pin Copilot to the navigating bar’ in the Microsoft 365 admin center and also unattended the ‘Allow customers to be asked whether they wish to pin it’ option, your setup arrangement is ‘Do not pin’ and your individuals still will not have Copilot pinned in their navigating bar.

The Allow web search in Copilot plan also enables you to handle web search for individuals with a Microsoft 365 Copilot certificate. To make sure people across your company have easy access to Copilot Chat and can benefit from its safety and experience updates, we advise that your customers have Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat pinned to their navigating bar.
