If you do not set up the Allow internet search in Copilot policy, internet search is available to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Conversation, unless you establish the Permit the usage of additional optional connected experiences in Workplace policy to Disabled.

Copilot Chat is currently pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, Teams, and Outlook for the majority of customers who are eligible for portal copilot studio Conversation throughout the internet, mobile, and desktop computer.

If you previously selected ‘Do not pin Copilot to the navigating bar’ in the Microsoft 365 admin facility and additionally unchecked the ‘Allow customers to be asked whether they intend to pin it’ option, your setting configuration is ‘Do not pin’ and your individuals still won’t have Copilot pinned in their navigation bar.
